Privacy policy
Short version: the details you type into an invoice stay on your device.
Information you enter into the tools
Your business details, logo, client details, line items and amounts are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to our servers, and we have no copy of them. The PDF is generated on your device and saved by your browser like any other download.
Drafts saved in your browser
If you use "save as draft", the invoice is written to your browser's local storage on that device. It is not synced anywhere and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it, and using a different device or browser will not show it.
Server logs
Like any website, requests for pages and files are handled by our hosting provider, which may record standard technical information such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent for security and reliability purposes. This is ordinary web-server logging, not profiling.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not set advertising cookies, and there is no account system, so no login cookies exist. If analytics or advertising are introduced later, this page will be updated before they go live and any consent required in your region will be requested at that point.
Third-party links
Some pages link to external services — for example a Google Sheets template or, in future, clearly-labelled recommendations for paid software. Once you follow such a link, that provider's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights and contact
Because we do not collect personal information through the tools, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, or you have a privacy question, contact hello@freeinvoicegenerator.info.
