Why the site exists

Most invoicing products are built for businesses that invoice constantly and are happy to pay a monthly fee. If you send a handful of invoices a month, signing up for accounting software, learning it and remembering to cancel it is more work than the invoice. LedgerLeaf covers that gap: open a page, fill in a form, download a proper PDF, get on with your day.

How the tools work

Everything runs in your browser. The invoice is assembled and the PDF is produced on your own device — your business details, client details and amounts are not sent to us or stored on a server. If you save a draft, it is kept in your browser's local storage and stays on that device.

How it is funded

The tools are free to use with no account, no email capture and no watermark. In future the site may carry display advertising or clearly-labelled affiliate recommendations for paid software. Anything of that kind will sit outside the tool, never on top of it, and will always be distinguishable from our own pages.

What we do not claim

We do not publish customer numbers, testimonials, certifications or awards, because we would have to invent them. We also do not give legal, tax or accounting advice — the guides explain common invoicing practice, and anything jurisdiction-specific should be confirmed with your tax authority or an accountant.
